Valerio Ferron is a professional violin maker from Cremona.
He became a Macter Luthier in Antonio Stradivari Violin Making School in Cremona and after that he was working with several old violin makers from Cremona where he compared and learned the best methods for instrument construction. Maestro Ferron is specialized in violin, viola and cello construction.

■About the Violin
For this violin maestro Valerio Ferron was inspired by fascinating works from "The Golden Period" of the great maestro Antonio Stradivari, the period when maestro Stradivari created his best violins. Maestro Ferron was using the Grand Pattern of Stradivari model and he dedicated his attention especially to details and created typical characteristics of the best work of Stradivari: elegant corner slender, very precise purfling, sure cut of the f-holes, graceful and very harmonic sculpture of the scroll. Maestro Ferron used very rare old wood, the one which can perfectly show Stradivari's taste connecting two pieces Maple in radial cut. The varnish used is the one that leave the wood free to vibrate and in the same time perfectly protects the wood. It shows not so consumed beautiful red-orange-brown surface, which enriches the elegance of the violin. The purfling is another jewel, handmade, prepared by Maestro Ferron himself, with the black side part in ebony
and white central part in poplar.
